Overview
A warm, professional dual-physician family in Leander, TX is seeking a full-time career nanny to care for their infant son (6 months old in April) starting at the beginning of May. This is the families first child, and they are excited to partner with a highly experienced, reliable, and communicative nanny who can provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and confident working with infants, with a strong emphasis on communication and consistency. The family greatly values detailed daily updates and a nanny who can anticipate needs and maintain structure in the home.
Schedule:
- Target start date: May 1, 2026 (flexible for the right candidate)
- Two weeks per month:
- Typically Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 6pm
- Includes 17.5 hours of overtime per week, paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
- Remaining two weeks per month:
- Typically Monday through Friday, 8am – 12pmo. Approx. 150-155 hours/month guaranteed
- Schedule will be provided in advance; flexibility is appreciated based on parents’ medical schedules
Responsibilities
- Full care of infant (feeding, naps, developmental play, soothing, etc.)
- Maintaining daily routines and structure
- Providing frequent updates (feeds, diapering, naps, general wellbeing)
- Sending photo updates throughout the day
- Baby-related housekeeping, including:
- Baby laundry
- Cleaning bottles and toys
- Maintaining nursery (changing sheets, organization, restocking essentials)
- Occasional infant bathing
Qualifications
- Highly reliable and dependable (critical due to parents’ medical careers)
- Strong communicator with attention to detail
- Proactive and organized — able to anticipate needs without direction
- Warm, engaging, and attentive with infants

- Additional language skills (Hindi or Telugu a plus, but not required)
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of professional nanny experience
- Strong infant experience required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (for commute - not needed during working hours)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Salary and Benefits
- $35–$45/hour DOE
- Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
- 2 weeks paid time off annually (family’s choosing)
