Overview
We are seeking an experienced and polished Private Chef to join a UHNW family with two grown-up children in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be highly professional, discreet, and adept at delivering exceptional, home-cooked meals.
The family values South Indian cuisine, but also enjoys Western, Pan-Asian, and Mediterranean dishes. The chef will prepare three meals daily, after which the family will help themselves.
This is an ideal for a chef who enjoys menu planning, sourcing premium ingredients, and creating restaurant-quality meals in a private household setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare three daily meals for the household, catering to the family’s preferences
- Demonstrate strong expertise in authentic South Indian home cooking
- Prepare additional dishes from Western, Pan-Asian, and Mediterranean cuisines
- Plan menus in advance and source fresh, high-quality ingredients from markets
- Maintain kitchen organisation, cleanliness, and stock control
- Ensure professional presentation in both food and personal appearance
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Private Chef for UHNW or VIP households
- Expertise in South Indian cuisine (essential)
- Versatile in Western, Pan-Asian, and Mediterranean cooking
- Polished, professional, and well-presented
- Confident in menu planning, provisioning, and sourcing ingredients
- Organised, reliable, and discreet
- Able to start on short notice
- Comfortable working up to 4 hours per day preparing all meals
