Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Chef de Partie to join a high performing culinary team within a prestigious 4-star city centre hotel, part of a respected, family-owned Irish hospitality group. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic kitchen environment known for delivering exceptional food quality, while contributing to innovative menu development and maintaining the highest standards of service and food safety.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in line with established standards
- Take ownership of a designated section within the kitchen, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Support menu development, including seasonal updates and new dish creation
- Monitor and control food costs, portioning, and waste management
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene across the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with senior chefs to deliver consistent and efficient service during busy periods
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced professional kitchen
- Recognised culinary qualification and strong HACCP knowledge
- Proven ability to maintain high standards in food preparation and presentation
- Experience contributing to menu planning and food costings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
