Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 gross per annum (DOE)
Work Schedule: Rota: 1 week on / 1 week off (Friday to Friday)
Accommodation: Private bedroom provided during the working week

Overview and Opportunity
A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced and professional Rota Nanny to join a private UHNW family based in London, caring for three school-aged children.
This role is ideally suited to a calm, structured, and engaging nanny who is confident in supporting older children and teenagers. The family is seeking someone who can provide guidance, encourage independence, and maintain consistent routines in a positive and nurturing manner.
Working within a fully staffed household, you will be part of a collaborative and well-organised team, contributing to a stable and supportive home environment.
Job Description
This is a dynamic rota position combining childcare, educational support, and organisational responsibilities. The role requires a proactive, confident candidate who can balance warmth with structure and understands the developmental needs of older children.
Role Responsibilities
Childcare & Development
- Provide attentive care for three school-aged children
- Confidently manage routines for older children and teenagers
- Encourage independence, accountability, and self-discipline
- Maintain structure around daily routines (morning prep, school readiness, evening wind-down)
- Promote positive behaviour with a firm but fair approach
Education & Academic Support
- Support homework and school projects
- Monitor academic progress in line with the British education system
- Assist with exam preparation (including GCSE level for the eldest child)
- Liaise with parents regarding progress and suggest tutors if required
Daily Routine & Organisation
- Ensure children prepare their school bags the evening before
- Encourage organisation of personal belongings (e.g., laundry in baskets, wardrobe upkeep)
- Oversee morning routine (dressing, breakfast, readiness for school)
- Manage after-school schedules, including homework, activities, and dinner
Driving & Logistics
- Drive children to and from school transport points (bus stops)
- Coordinate schedules across two different schools
- Ensure smooth daily logistics and punctuality
Household Support (Child-Related)
- Manage children’s laundry and wardrobe organisation
- Maintain tidy and organised spaces for the children
- Work collaboratively with other household staff
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within UHNW/HNW private households
- Strong experience with school-aged children and teenagers (essential)
- Confident driver (essential)
- Background in teaching or strong educational experience (preferred)
- Excellent understanding of the British education system
- Fluent English speaker
- Highly organised with strong multitasking abilities
- Calm, structured, and professional approach
- Firm but fair, with the ability to set boundaries and encourage independence
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Flexible and willing to travel with the family
- Must be able to commute to London (travel expenses not covered)
