We are recruiting for a Sous Chef to join a progressive and creative kitchen team within a high-quality hospitality environment. Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Lead and motivate the team, particularly in the Head Chef’s absence
- Contribute to menu development with creativity and innovation
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and kitchen procedures
- Train and mentor junior chefs, fostering a positive team environment
- Manage stock, ordering, and minimise waste where possible
- Assist in maintaining an efficient and organised kitchen operation
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ready to step up
- Solid culinary skills with a passion for high-quality food
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Creative approach to menu development
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
- Flexible, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
