Live-in Domestic Couple – Central London (with European Travel)
Location: Central London
Accommodation: Live-in
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm
Travel: Regular European travel required (including summer and posssible travel at Christmas)
Household Overview
A private family household based in Central London, consisting of:
- 1 adult and 1 child resident full time
- 2 older children and the main principal resident at varying times
- The family owns additional homes in France, Switzerland, and Luxembourg, and frequently holidays elsewhere in Europe.
Requirements
- A professional, experienced domestic couple
- Willing and able to travel with the family when required
- EU passports strongly preferred
- Discreet, flexible, and service-oriented
- Previous experience working in private households essential
Role 1: Houseman / Driver
Responsibilities include:
- Chauffeuring duties (confident London and European driving required)
- Light garden maintenance
- Assisting with housekeeping as needed
- General household support
Role 2: Housekeeper / Cook
Responsibilities include:
- Full management of housekeeping
- Laundry and wardrobe care
- Daily family cooking (healthy, well-presented meals)
- Confident and capable cook
- A professional chef will be engaged for dinner parties and entertaining
Additional Notes
- Travel mainly occurs during the summer, but flexibility is required for travel at other times of the year, including Christmas
- This is a long-term role suited to a couple looking for stability within a respectful, well-run household
