Overview
A wonderful repeat BAHS client relocating from Manhattan to San Diego are looking for an all-star career nanny for their one year old. The role will be live-out Monday through Friday about 50 hours a week. The position requires some travel. The family would like to find someone local but will offer relocation assistance for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, developmentally focused care for a one-year-old
- Maintain structured routines, including sleep schedules and daily activities
- Children’s meal preparation
- Keeping the child’s spaces clean and tidy (putting away/wiping down toys, cleaning bottles, dishes, and the kitchen after baby’s mealtime, tidying the room, keeping the stroller/diaper bag organized and well-stocked).
- Travel support and occasional overnight care
- Collaborate seamlessly with parents
- Travel with family a few times a year
Qualifications
- Prior experience caring for young children.
- Hands-on, energetic, and engaging caregiving style.
- Flexible, proactive, and highly organized
- The ability to speak Spanish is a major plus!
Requirements
- Must be local to San Diego or willing to relocate (family will assist with relocation cost)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Driving experience is a plus.
- Flexible with schedule as needed.
- Able to provide strong references and pass a background check.
