Overview
A private family in New York City is seeking a temporary, live-in ROTA Nanny to join their household through the end of the school year (late June). The family has three boys, ages 12, 10, and 6, and is looking for a dependable, engaging, and organized caregiver to step into a well-established two-week rotation schedule alongside a long-term nanny. This role is covering for a valued nanny who recently departed after many years with the family, and the ideal candidate will provide consistency, structure, and warmth during this transition.
Schedule
- Live-in during working rotations
- Hours: Approximately 6:00am–9:00pm while on duty
- Rotation coverage needed for the following dates:
- Sunday, April 26 – Monday, May 4
- Monday, May 18 – June 1
- June 15 – June 30
Responsibilities
- Providing attentive, age-appropriate care for three school-aged boys
- Managing school pick-ups and drop-offs and accompanying children to activities (with a driver)
- Preparing simple, healthy meals for the children
- Children’s laundry and light housekeeping related to their care
- Assisting with daily routines, scheduling, and organization
- Maintaining a structured, calm, and supportive environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a private home, ideally in a live-in and/or ROTA role
Requirements
- Confident managing multiple children of varying ages
- Proactive, organized, and able to take initiative
- Team player comfortable working alongside another nanny
- Warm, engaging, and reliable demeanor
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English
Salary and Benefits
- $50/hour
