Overview
A private Miami Beach family is seeking a highly capable, proactive rotational nanny/family assistant to provide full-spectrum childcare support and manage all child-related household needs for their two school aged children. This role requires a polished professional who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment and can seamlessly support the family both at home and while traveling domestically and internationally. This family is open to fly-in/fly-out candidates.
Schedule:
- 24/7 rotational schedule: Two weeks on / Two weeks off
- Live-in during working rotation
- Flexibility required for travel, extended hours, and schedule adjustments as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care for the children
- Manage all child-related household tasks, including:
- Children’s laundry and wardrobe organization
- Daily upkeep of children’s bedrooms, play areas, and common spaces
- Cleaning and management of children’s dishes and belongings
- Maintain inventory of all children’s supplies, clothing, and essentials
- Pack and prepare for domestic and international travel with the family
- Travel with the family and provide full childcare support while away
- Coordinate and support children’s schedules, including extracurricular activities
- Ensure routines are structured, consistent, and supportive of the children’s development
Requirements
- Highly proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to anticipate household and child needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills within a staffed home
- Prior experience as a rotational nanny or similar high-level private household role preferred (ROTA experience strongly valued)
- Valid driver’s license with confident driving ability
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid US Passport not expiring within the next 6 months
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally without restriction
- Comfortable working in a fully staffed, high-standard private household
Salary and Benefits
- $125,000 per year
