Role: Rota Nanny (French-Speaking)
Salary: €400 per day (self-employment basis)
Location: Kensington, London
Working Schedule: Two weeks on / two weeks off (live-in while on duty)

Job Description
A warm and dynamic family based in Kensington is seeking an experienced, French-speaking rota nanny to care for their two boys aged 7 and 5. This is a live-in position working on a two-week on/off rotation.
The family is expecting a newborn in mid-May, and the current rota nanny will transition to newborn care, creating an opportunity for a dedicated nanny to focus on the two older children.
The role involves supporting the children’s daily routines, education, and development, including French language immersion, while encouraging independence and maintaining a structured environment. Travel will be required during school holidays and summer periods.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure the children’s safety, well-being, and overall care
- Support and supervise schoolwork, particularly English homework
- Provide French language immersion:
– Building foundational skills for the 5-year-old
– Developing and maintaining fluency for the 7-year-old
- Manage daily routines including extracurricular activities, homework, meals, bath, and bedtime
- Encourage independence and self-sufficiency in the children
- Maintain tidiness and organisation of children’s areas
- Shop for children’s essentials (e.g. books, gifts, clothing items) as agreed with the mother
- Accompany the family on travel during school holidays
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar live-in nanny role
- Strong track record of long-term positions (2-3 years with one family)
- Fluent French speaker with excellent English
- Warm, calm, patient, and approachable personality
- Team player, able to work alongside other household staff
- Highly organised and proactive
- Comfortable working in a fully staffed household
- Driving licence not required
