Salary: £45,000 gross per annum (flexible for the right candidate)
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am-6:00 pm, babysitting occasionally

A fantastic long-term opportunity is available for an experienced Full-Time Nanny / Housekeeper to join a welcoming private family based in Gibraltar. The family is looking for a warm, organised, and dependable professional who enjoys working closely with a family and becoming a trusted part of their household.
The successful candidate will initially begin in July 2026, allowing time to build a strong relationship with the family and children before transitioning into the full-time position.
The role involves caring for two children aged 2 and 5, while also supporting the smooth running of the home. The ideal candidate will be confident managing childcare responsibilities, preparing meals, organising activities, and assisting the parents with household tasks.

Job Description
The successful candidate will provide excellent childcare while assisting with the organisation and day-to-day management of the household. The role requires someone who is nurturing, flexible, and able to balance childcare duties with light housekeeping responsibilities.
Role Responsibilities
- Providing attentive, loving, and engaging care for two children aged 2 and 5
- Planning and organising fun, creative, and age-appropriate activities for the children
- Supporting the children’s routines, development, and daily needs
- Preparing healthy meals, snacks, and lunch boxes for the children
- Managing children’s laundry, clothing, and personal belongings
- Keeping children’s bedrooms, play areas, and belongings organised and tidy
- Assisting mum with the smooth running and organisation of the household
- Carrying out light housekeeping duties related to the family and children
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the children
- Taking initiative and anticipating the needs of the family
- Building a long-term, trusted relationship with the family
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working in a similar private household role
- Strong childcare experience, particularly with toddlers and young children
- Warm, caring, and patient personality
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
- Flexible approach and willingness to support the family as required
- Fluent English essential
- Spanish language skills would be an advantage
- A driver is not essential
- A genuine commitment to building a long-term relationship with the family and becoming a trusted member of the household
