This is a travelling role, working closely with a long-standing core team supporting a family across multiple residences and international locations.
The successful candidate will have previous experience within a luxury private household or high-end hotel environment and will take pride in maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness, wardrobe care, and household presentation. This role would suit someone organised, flexible, and accustomed to working within a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
Job Description
The Travelling Housekeeper will be responsible for the day-to-day housekeeping operations across the principal’s residences while travelling with the wider household team. The role requires a hands-on approach, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining complete discretion and professionalism at all times.
Role Responsibilities
- Daily housekeeping to the highest standard
- Detailed cleaning, organisation, and presentation of interiors
- Specialist garment care, including laundry, ironing, steaming, and wardrobe management
- Packing and unpacking for travel
- Maintaining household supplies and reporting maintenance issues when required
- Supporting the wider household team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Assisting with the preparation of guest areas and bedrooms
- Ensuring confidentiality and discretion are maintained at all times
- Travelling internationally with the principal and core team as required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience within a high-end hotel, luxury hospitality, or UHNW private household environment
- Strong housekeeping and laundry skills essential
- Excellent attention to detail and high personal standards
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to travel frequently
- Professional, discreet, and service-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- EU or British passport is required for ease of international travel
- Fluent English preferred
