Overview
A warm and professional family in Battery Park City, Manhattan, is seeking a long-term, full-time nanny/family assistant to care for their two daughters, ages 2.5 and 4, with a start date as soon as possible. Both children attend a Mandarin immersion preschool within walking distance of the family's home. The family will guarantee a minimum of 40 hours per week, working 1pm–6pm on Mondays and Fridays and 7:45am–6:00pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, though they are flexible regarding specific days, should candidates prefer to switch this up. Additional flexibility is required to provide full-day coverage when the children are out of school, during holidays, and school breaks, if at all possible.
Childcare is the primary responsibility, though the family would appreciate assistance with light household tasks while the children are at school, including laundry, tidying common areas, loading and unloading the dishwasher, light food preparation, and occasional nearby errands. No overnight care, babysitting, travel, or live-in responsibilities will generally be required.
