Overview
A busy Canary Wharf-based family seeks a part-time, live-out housekeeper for an ASAP start. Ideally they would like someone to come in 2 days per week, for about 8hrs per day.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be caring for a 3-bed, 3.5-bath apartment. Standards are high and excellent attention to detail is expected. Responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning of all rooms in the home, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping etc
- Regular deep cleaning
- Keeping the kitchen organised and tidy
- Keeping an eye on pantry stock levels, cleaning supplies etc
- General tidying and organising
- Laundry and ironing for the family (parents and toddler)
- Organising and maintaining wardrobes
- Regular changing of bedlinen
- Online ordering and grocery shopping
- Running errands
- Accepting deliveries, booking and supervising contractors and trades
- Preparing an evening (and possibly lunchtime) meal for the family, if possible
- Light household admin
Requirements
The family is keen to find someone discreet and loyal, who pays attention to detail and who will care for the home as their own. The successful candidate should:
- Have a positive, can-do personality
- Be happy to work alongside Mum, who will be working from home for most of the time
- Be an effective communicator
- Be looking for a long-term fit
- Have exceptional cleaning and organisational skills
- Ideally be a fantastic cook!
