Job Description
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to become an integral member of the kitchen team. Working within either the restaurants or supporting production kitchens, you will play a key role in delivering consistently high standards of food quality and presentation.
You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and wider brigade to maintain exceptional food standards, contribute menu ideas and help create outstanding dining experiences for guests.
This is a busy, fast-paced operation serving everything from buffet breakfasts for guests to à la carte dining, afternoon teas, family favourites and South East Asian-inspired dishes. Live-in accommodation is available, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to relocate.
Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes to company standards.
- Take ownership of your designated kitchen section.
- Supervise, train and motivate Commis Chefs.
- Ensure consistency, quality and portion control at all times.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the Front of House team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Assist with daily specials and contribute ideas for menu development.
- Support stock rotation, ordering and waste control.
- Help maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.
- Deliver service efficiently during busy periods while maintaining high standards.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie within a quality hospitality environment.
- Relevant professional cookery qualification preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Passion for producing high-quality food using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Right to work in the UK (please note this role does not offer sponsorship).
