Gardener | New Forest Area
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Gardener to join a private family estate in the New Forest area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and enjoys working as part of a dedicated team.
Working closely with the Head Gardener, you will play an important role in the ongoing development, maintenance and presentation of the gardens, grounds and wider landscape, helping to ensure they are kept to an exceptional standard throughout the year.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), starting in September, offering a starting salary of £32,000 per annum.
We're looking for someone with:
- RHS Level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
- A full, current UK driving licence
- Significant recent experience in gardening, landscaping and grounds maintenance
- Confidence using a wide range of gardening machinery, including strimmers and hedge cutters
- A pesticide spraying qualification would be an advantage, but is not essential
The successful candidate will be hands-on, reliable and proactive, with a genuine passion for horticulture and a keen eye for detail. As this is a private household, professionalism, discretion and flexibility are essential. There will be occasions where evening and weekend work is required to meet the needs of the estate.
