An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced, reliable and professional Live-in Domestic Couple to join a private household in the TS15 area.
Working on a beautiful estate, the successful couple will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running, care and security of the property and its extensive grounds. This is a long-term position for a couple who take pride in their work, are hands-on, trustworthy and flexible in their approach.
The Role
The duties will include:
- Full housekeeping and cleaning of the property to a high standard [no laundry required]
- Cooking on occasion
- Grocery and household shopping
- General property maintenance and oversight
- Grounds maintenance and gardening, mainly large areas of hedging and approximately 10 acres of lawns.
- Liaising with contractors and tradespeople
- Ensuring annual servicing and maintenance contracts are scheduled and completed
- Monitoring and maintaining the security of the property and grounds
- Being proactive in identifying and dealing with household and property requirements
- Supporting the smooth and efficient running of the estate
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday:
- Housekeeper: 9.00am – 5.00pm
- Grounds person: 8.00am – 4.00pm
- Flexibility may occasionally be required depending on the needs of the household.
- Weekends are generally free.

We are looking for a well-established domestic couple who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience working within a private household, estate or similar environment
- Excellent housekeeping and practical property-maintenance skills
- Gardening and grounds-maintenance experience
- Good organisational and communication skills
- A reliable, flexible and proactive attitude
- Excellent attention to detail
- Discretion and respect for privacy
- A high level of trustworthiness and integrity
- Full driving capability for the role
- The ability to work independently and as a team

Accommodation
- A two-bedroom furnished cottage with its own private garden and parking is provided on the property. The cottage can also be provided unfurnished if preferred.
- A well-behaved pet may be considered.
- All accommodation-related costs are met by the employer.
