An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and personable Domestic Couple to join a private household in the PL27 area.
The role would suit capable, warm and down-to-earth individuals who take pride in their work, have plenty of initiative and common sense, and are looking for a long-term position where they can become an integral part of the household.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running and presentation of the main property, with the role having scope to develop over time to include responsibility for additional properties.
Duties & Responsibilities
The role will include, but is not limited to:
Housekeeper
- Cleaning and maintaining the property to a high standard
- Laundry, washing and ironing
- Occasional cooking and meal preparation
- Grocery and household shopping
- Looking after the main residence and, in time, additional properties
- Undertaking general household administration
- Helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the household
- Taking initiative to identify and deal with household requirements
Gardener/Handyman
- Managing and coordinating contractors
- Chasing contractors and following up on outstanding work
- Maintaining landscaped gardens
- General basic maintenance
- Helping in the house if able to
