Live-out Housekeeper – Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: Up to £36,000 (depending on experience)

A warm and busy family based in Lancashire is seeking an experienced and highly organised Live-out Housekeeper to support the smooth running of their home. The household consists of two adults and three young children (aged 5 years, 3 years, and 8 weeks), so a proactive and detail-oriented approach is essential.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
Either 8:30am – 2:30pm or 9:00am – 3:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Full housekeeping duties including cleaning, tidying, and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- Laundry care, including washing, ironing, and wardrobe organisation
- Running ad hoc household errands
- Supporting the general organisation of the home
Cooking is not essential; however, the ability to prepare healthy, home-cooked meals from scratch would be a bonus.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience in a private household
- High level of organisation and strong attention to detail
- Willingness to take direction and adapt to the family's preferred ways of working
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
