Live-In Housekeeper – Permanent Full-Time Position
Location: Near Twyford
Salary: £45,000 gross per annum
Start Date: As soon as possible
A lovely private household near Twyford is seeking an experienced, proactive, and trustworthy Live-In Housekeeper to join their home on a permanent, full-time basis.
Working for a household of two adults, this is a varied role requiring excellent housekeeping skills, a hands-on attitude, and the ability to manage the home independently when required.
Duties Include:
- Full housekeeping and cleaning
- Laundry and wardrobe management
- Ironing
- Occasional assistance with meal preparation
- Household shopping and ad hoc errands
- Keeping terraces, patios, and immediate outdoor areas clean and tidy
- General household organisation and upkeep
- Dog sitting and house sitting when the employers are away
- Liaising with contractors and service providers as required
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Approximately 45 hours per week
Accommodation:
- Private self-contained flat provided, separate from the main house
- Accommodation is furnished, although it could be offered unfurnished for the right candidate
- An independent partner may be considered
- Well-behaved pets are welcome
- All accommodation-related costs are covered by the employer
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous private household housekeeping experience
- Excellent cleaning, laundry, and organisational skills
- Must genuinely enjoy animals and be comfortable caring for dogs
- Horse lover a bonus, or someone willing to assist with leading horses from the field to the stables when required (not essential)
- Able to work independently and take ownership of the smooth running of the household
