An excellent opportunity for an experienced Domestic Couple to join a private household in the OX17 area.
The position would suit a professional couple who enjoy working as a team and are looking for a long-term role within a lovely private home.
The household consists of two adults, with the couple responsible for the upkeep and smooth running of the property and its extensive grounds.
The Roles
Housekeeper
The housekeeper will be responsible for the day-to-day running and presentation of the home, including:
- Thorough cleaning and general housekeeping
- Laundry and ironing
- Changing beds and linen care
- Occasional cooking and meal preparation
- Pet care
- Ad hoc household errands
- Maintaining consistently high standards throughout the property
Gardener
The gardener will be responsible for the care and maintenance of approximately 20 acres of grounds, including around 3 acres of formal gardens.
Duties will include:
- General garden maintenance
- Care and maintenance of the formal gardens
- Lawn and border maintenance
- Seasonal garden work
- Maintaining the grounds to a high standard
- General outdoor maintenance as required
The couple should be practical, hands-on and willing to work together to meet the needs of the household.
Accommodation
The couple will be provided with a furnished, self-contained two-bedroom apartment.
A well-behaved pet would be considered.
The Ideal Couple
The ideal couple will have previous experience working in a private household, ideally in domestic couple or similar positions.
