A lovely private household in Marylebone is seeking an experienced, reliable and discreet part-time live-out Housekeeper to maintain their home to a consistently high standard.
The successful candidate will take pride in their work, have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable working independently. This is a hands-on housekeeping role within a private home, with responsibility for the day-to-day cleaning, organisation and upkeep of the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Thorough cleaning and upkeep of the entire home
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and general cleaning
- Cleaning and maintaining bathrooms and kitchen to a high standard
- Changing bed linen and making beds
- Laundry, ironing and careful handling of clothes and household linens
- Keeping wardrobes, cupboards and household areas organised
- General tidying and maintaining a neat, orderly home
- Monitoring household cleaning and laundry supplies and flagging when replenishment is required
- Caring for household surfaces, furnishings and finishes appropriately
- Occasional additional housekeeping tasks as required
- Running errands
- Helping with pet care
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Housekeeper in a private household
- High standards of cleaning and presentation
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Discreet and respectful of privacy
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good knowledge of laundry, ironing and garment care
- Comfortable working around cats
- Professional, friendly and positive attitude
