Overview and Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive business support to an UHNW Principal.
Job description
This is a high-trust, high-exposure position for someone who is confident operating with significant autonomy and understands the demands of supporting a private principal whose schedule and priorities can change quickly.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted right hand, managing complex international scheduling, travel, correspondence and day-to-day priorities while liaising with family members, household staff, advisors and external contacts.
This is not a traditional 9-5, Monday-to-Friday EA position. Flexibility, availability and the ability to adapt to the Principal’s changing requirements are essential. The Principal will, occasionally, require candidates to travel alongside them, however this will not be regular.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage a complex international calendar, coordinating meetings, appointments and competing priorities
- Arrange and oversee detailed international travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation, transfers and last-minute changes
- Prepare the Principal for meetings, ensuring all relevant information, documentation and follow-up actions are organised
- Manage correspondence and communications on behalf of the Principal
- Liaise discreetly with family members, household staff, professional advisors and external counterparties
- Handle highly confidential financial, legal, family and personal information with absolute discretion
- Anticipate the Principal’s requirements and proactively resolve issues before they arise
- Make informed decisions and judgement calls on the Principal’s behalf when required
- Manage and follow up on personal and professional projects, ensuring deadlines and actions are met
- Provide support across both professional and personal matters as required
- Coordinate with household and wider support teams to ensure priorities are delivered efficiently
- Travel with the Principal when required
- Remain flexible and responsive to changing schedules and priorities
Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive experience supporting a UHNW Principal, Family Office, C-suite executive or similarly demanding individual
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working outside traditional office hours and adapting to an unpredictable schedule
- Highly discreet and trustworthy, with experience handling sensitive and confidential information
- Proactive by nature, with the ability to anticipate needs rather than simply react to requests
- Calm and composed under pressure, with the confidence to make decisions independently
- Resourceful, fast-thinking and solutions-focused
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Confident dealing with senior stakeholders, advisors and external contacts
- Knowledge of real estate would be advantageous
- Willing and able to travel internationally as required
