Overview
A lovely family is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Housekeeper to maintain a beautiful home in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate takes great pride in their work and has a high standard for cleanliness, organization, and presentation. The family is looking for someone who notices the little things, stays on top of daily upkeep, and maintains the home to a level of cleanliness similar to a hotel.
Schedule:
- Full-time position
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Occasional Saturday or Sunday availability when the family is hosting, with a weekday off in exchange
- Start ASAP
Responsibilities
- Maintain the home to an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness and presentation
- Complete daily and detailed cleaning throughout the home, paying close attention to small details
- Keep all rooms, surfaces, and common areas clean, tidy, and well-maintained
- Perform deep cleaning and stay ahead of household upkeep
- Maintain kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces to a hotel-like standard
- Handle laundry, folding, ironing, and care of household linens as needed
- Keep household items and supplies organized and notify the family when supplies need replenishing
- Assist with preparing the home for guests and maintaining the home during and after hosting
- Take initiative and proactively identify areas that need attention without waiting for direction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a private home, luxury household, or high-end hospitality setting
- Flexible and comfortable adjusting the schedule when the family is hosting

Salary and Benefits
- $34–$40 per hour, depending on experience
- PTO, sick days, holidays
