Overview
A lovely young couple in the West Village is seeking a fantastic newborn care specialist to assist with their first child, due in early July. The schedule for this role will be 20/7, and the role will last for at least three months. The family plans to travel to France prior to the birth and will spend the first two months there, so the NCS must be able to travel internationally and spend at least two months abroad with the family, and in September the family will return to NYC.
Responsibilities
- Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
- Keeping the baby's spaces stocked, organized, and tidy
- Assisting with creating and maintaining an effective sleep and feeding schedule
- Sleep conditioning and training from day one
- Traveling with the family to France and other locations as needed
- Providing general support and assistance- guiding and teaching new parents while ultimately deferring to their wishes
Qualifications
- Warm, kind, and nurturing
- Willing to take direction
- Professional and able to read the room- allowing the family privacy when desired
- Ability to go-with-the-flow while providing structure and consistency
- Clean and organized
- Lactation expertise, as the mother wishes to breastfeed
Requirements
- US passport, Green Card or EAC
- COVID vaccinated, and up to date on Flu/RSV/Tdap and MMR vaccinations
- Passport ready and willing to travel
