Responsibilities
A busy family on the UWS is looking for a professional newborn care specialist for their third child. This position is Monday through Thursday, from 7:30pm-7:30am. This role will begin the week of February 17th, 2025 and continue for five weeks, thus concluding March 21st, 2025. The family follows the American Association of Pediatrics guidelines when making decisions regarding the newborns care.
- Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
- Implementing an effective sleep routine
- Providing practical tools, as well as general support and assistance
- Following the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines
- Candidates should be willing to offer their professional advice but ultimately respect the parents’ wishes
Qualifications
- Must have at least 5-8 years' verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist
- Candidates should be calm, gentle, and confident
Requirements
- US passport, Green Card, or EAC
- Up to date on RSV/TDap and MMR vaccinations
- Must be CPR certified
