Overview
A high-profile client in Menlo Park, CA (Bay Area) is seeking a full-time live-out chef. The schedule needs to be very flexible but will ideally be 5-6 days a week for lunch and dinner service with occasional breakfast service if other chefs are unavailable. The candidate to hire needs to have a commute within 45 minutes to Menlo Park; out of state/out of the area candidates will not be considered for this role.
Responsibilities
- The job duties will include preparing meals for the client (husband & wife) and their guests
- Placing grocery and supply orders
- Working closely with the butler team
- The candidates to hire will need to have the ability to travel domestically if needed
Requirements
- The candidate to hire must have the ability to work independently and with a large culinary team
- Must have a teamwork mindset and be humble and easy to get along with others in the fully staffed kitchen and home
- Candidate should have minimal 10 years at the executive chef level in coveted hotels or restaurants and 5 years as private chef
Salary and Benefits
- $150k-200k DOE
