Overview
A lovely, welcoming family seeks a domestic couple for their Palo-Alto property. The usual schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8am-5pm, however please also be prepared to work longer hours and weekend work when required. The family do travel quite regularly and would love the domestic couple to join them - they go to some wonderful locations and hours are reasonable!
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the upkeep of all outside areas, maintaining the garden and performing seasonal tasks
- Maintaining paths, driveways and other hard landscaped areas
- Ensuring outdoor furniture, pool, tennis courts etc are clean, tidy and maintained
- Running errands
- Regular driving (errands, taking principals to and from the city, to appointments, engagements, to the airport etc)
- Maintaining the family’s cars
- Performing minor repairs and conducting regular checks, both inside and outside of the property
- All housekeeping for the property (cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing, provisioning etc).
- Regular deep cleaning of the property, including of the gym
- Occasional childcare for two young children when needed (this will be back-up only)
- Taking on cooking duties when the chef isn't available
- Helping prepare and serve when the family are entertaining
- And really anything else within reason that supports the family in their personal and professional lives!
Requirements

- Be personable, friendly, willing and hard-working with good organisational skills and an eye for detail

- Be confident managing gardens and with general handyman responsibilities
- Active, and able to keep up with a busy household and young children
- Comfortable being very hands-on in all areas.
