Overview
A busy family of three living in Park Slope, Brooklyn is looking for a temporary nanny to care for their 1.5 year old son for the months of April and June. This does not need to be the same candidate but would be amazing if was. The role will start April 1st and for April will be Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. Then again in June, Monday and Wednesdays, 8am- 2pm.
Responsibilities
- All responsibilities will be around the child, the family will not have the caregiver doing any other duties.
- Keeping the child safe, healthy, happy and enaged at all times.
Qualifications
- Candidates should be professional, warm, and intentional, really getting down on the child's level and engaging them
- Candidates must be comfortable working collaboratively with extended family
- Not looking for someone who will be distracted on phone or with personal life
Requirements
- Keeping child safe and happy at all times
- CPR certified
- The family are warm, kind, and informal, but they do appreciate candidates respecting boundaries.
- Both parents work, though are hands-on as much as possible when they are home, so candidates should know when to step-up and when to step back and keep busy doing other things while the parents spend quality time with the children.
