Overview
Kind and worldly family is looking for a local London based nanny to join them for all of June at their home in the Knightsbridge neighborhood. They have one toddler boy who is one-year-old. The schedule will typically be 8am-7pm, 11-12 hours per day. The ideal candidate will be willing to work the whole duration though there will be some downtime when the child is with relatives or parents. Please note this is a live-out position and the nanny must have their own local housing.
Responsibilities
- Full child care: Providing a warm and loving environment, care and engagement of the child including enrichment in age-appropriate activities that foster physical, social, and emotional growth including designing a schedule of activities (inside and outside the home) that foster creativity and help the child progress in development.
- Coordinating schedules for naps, meals, activities, and travel including collaborating with a live-in caregiver who has been with the family long-term
- Helping with the child’s laundry and with light child meal preparation
- Nursery duties including: managing the tidiness and organization of the child's space and restocking baby items such as diapers and wipes
Qualifications
- Warm and nurturing personality
- Detail oriented and a self-starter, able to read a room, and be full-charge in the role
- Team player with excellent communication who will keep busy parents in the loop and be happy to have parents pop in when they have a break
- Excited to work with the toddler age, know ages and stages and what developmental milestones are coming next
- Familiarity with Montessori and open to incorporating it into the home is ideal
- A second language would be nice to have but not required
Requirements
- Currently already in the UK and legally able to work there
- Available for the majority of June
Salary and Benefits
£200-300 per day
