Overview
A wonderful Miami-based family is looking for a full-time live-out nanny. The schedule will be Monday through Friday and will be 50 hours per week. The family has two girls, ages 4 years old and 15 months. The family spends 2.5 months in Martha's Vineyard in the summer, and they need someone excited and willing to go with them.
Responsibilities
- Always ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
- All aspects of full-charge care, including meal planning, prep, feeding, bathing, laundry
- Adhere to schedules and household systems
- Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment while maintaining structure and boundaries
- Proactively plan and coordinate activities and play-dates
- Take children to/from appointments, school, and activities- you must have your own vehicle.
- General tidying and organization of children’s areas, as well as the main areas in the house
- Assisting with light housekeeping such as emptying the dishwasher, doing laundry, taking out the trash, and cooking for the family
- Travel with the family to Martha's Vineyard in the summer and live-in during this time.
Qualifications
- Must be able to balance 2 young children
- Looking for someone who is loving, nurturing, and hard-working
- Team player and extension of the parents
- Huge plus if willing to help with household tasks and loves to cook
- Like to travel
- Someone tidy and good at multitasking will do well in this role
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with young children
- Ability to spend summers out of state
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Excellent references
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- Clean driver's license and reliable, safe car to use for work
Salary and Benefits
- Hourly rate starts at $35 per hour
