Overview
A lovely family based in Irving, TX is looking for a full-time housekeeper/cook. The position can be live-in, or live-out. The general schedule is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week guaranteed. The family has a young toddler so the candidate must be comfortable around children.
Responsibilities
Housekeeping
- Standard housekeeping duties, responsibility for the cleanliness and upkeep of the home, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and removing trash
- Conduct deep cleaning: scrubbing showers/toilets, cleaning window ledges, removing cobwebs, and maintaining overall hygiene standards
- Organize and maintain closets, pantries, and storage spaces; perform seasonal clean-ups
- Laundry, ironing, and garment care
Cooking
- Prepare healthy, simple meals
- Maintain fridge cleanliness and food freshness
- Wash dishes, order groceries, unpack and organize kitchen items, simple food prep with fresh produce
Requirements
- Detail oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Prior full-time private household experience
- Reliable, flexible
- Valid driver’s license

Salary and Benefits
- $30-$35/hr, depending on experience
- 2 weeks vacation, 5 sick days, holidays
