Overview
A dynamic family in TriBeCa, NYC, is seeking an exceptional personal assistant/house manager to oversee the seamless operation of their household and day-to-day needs, including those of their preschooler and 10-year-old. While the standard schedule is Monday through Friday, candidates should maintain a flexible, 24/7 mindset to address urgent matters, as needed.
This is a warm, family-oriented household, and there is a collaborative team in place, including nannies, a chef, and a housekeeper.
This opportunity is open to both entry-level and seasoned professionals.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of daily household operations with discretion and precision, upholding an atmosphere of calm order and seamless functionality.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the principals, household staff (nannies, chef, housekeeper), vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Manage all scheduling, travel logistics, and personal appointments with exceptional attention to detail.l
- Coordinate with schools, childcare providers, and extracurricular programs to streamline family logistics.
- Maintain and update family and household calendars; ensure clear communication across all moving parts.s
- Oversee gifting, inventory, and procurement of household and personal items.
- Anticipate needs and proactively address challenges before they arise
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, and represent the principals with pride, polis, and grace
Qualifications
- Some degree of experience supporting a high-net-worth household; comfortable working in a family environment with young children
- Deep knowledge of New York City vendors, services, and logistics
- Tech-savvy and confident across modern platforms (AI, ChatGPT, Google Suite, iOS, GSuite, Notion, and travel and household management apps)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, exuding calm efficiency, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Naturally resourceful, anticipatory, and calm under pressure
- Warm, kind, and emotionally intelligent
- Demonstrate accountability and a steadfast commitment to follow-through
- Highly motivated, ambitious, with strong initiative, an innate drive to excel, and a commitment to excellence in service
Requirements
- Must live within a reasonable commute to TriBeCa
- US passport, Green Card, or EAC
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong, verifiable references from relevant/ comparable prior tenures
- Available to start ASAP
Salary and Benefits
- $110-130k, commensurate with experience
- Healthcare stipend
