Overview
An active family of four with a loveable miniature schnauzer in the Bay Heights/Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami, FL, is seeking a full-time housekeeper. The home is 5,500 sq ft and consists of 4 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The general schedule is Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm. The family travels to the Hamptons for a month, and the candidate may be expected to accompany them. This position is open to local candidates only.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- All aspects of general housekeeping, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and cleaning the bathroom and kitchen
- Laundry – wash, dry, fold clothing, and some ironing
- Changing of linens and making beds
- General organization of closets and the household, ensuring that items are stored properly and easily accessible
- Light pet care, walking, and feeding the dog
- Maintain tidiness throughout the day
- Household support, such as dry cleaning, pick up, or grocery shopping
- Travel with family when requested
- Cooking not required, but would be a plus

- Comfortable working in a household with teenagers and a dog

Requirements
- Teenager and pet-friendly
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Ability to care for various types of fabrics and can follow label instructions
- Ability to travel domestically for up to one month at a time
- Legal to work in the U.S.
Salary and Benefits
Compensation is $40 to $60 per hour DOE, and cooking skills, with a negotiable benefits package.
