Overview
A family newly settled in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled chauffeur. This is a full-time, long-term position. Flexibility is essential, as the schedule may include some evenings, weekends, and holidays. Occasional travel may be requested. This role requires a security background and extensive knowledge of the Tri-State area.
Responsibilities
- Driving the principals and family to and from school, work, meetings, the airport, and appointments daily, while ensuring safety and security at all times.
- Preparing the routing, directions, and additional due diligence in advance to ensure the most efficient and timely transportation
- Communicating with all appropriate staff members, ensuring the principal's needs are met on an ever-changing calendar/schedule.
- Assisting all principals in and out of all pick-up and destination points upon their requests if needed.
- Accounting for the insurance, registration, and maintenance of the vehicle/s; ensuring all records are up to date and all services are recorded.
- Maintaining the vehicle (s) at all times, including gas levels, cleanliness inside and out, and comfort for all principals.
- Be prepared to handle any errands or requests at a moment's notice due to the principal's ever-changing schedule and needs.
- Have the ability and instinctive reactions to any unsafe conditions or travel, and make immediate decisions on alternative routes, clearly communicating your reasoning to the principal.
Qualifications
- Must be discreet and professional at all times when around principals, family, and all staff members.
- The ability to multitask and handle situations under pressure.
- The ability to appropriately respond to and mitigate any threats or inconveniences that may occur.
- The ability to speak Russian is a significant plus
- Ability to read the room and know when to be seen/unseen
- Must be discreet, a polished professional, and maintain a low profile while around the family and any locations they attend.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in law enforcement and or previous military, executive protection, corporate, or physical security experience.
Defensive and offensive driver training/certification or proficient experience in this area.
Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check based on the principals' expectations.
Must possess a valid, stellar current and past driving record and successfully complete a driving record background check.
Must be fluent in English.
Must be a citizen of the United States or legally able to be employed in the United States
Salary and Benefits
- Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience and ranges from $150-$160k but is open for the best of the best
