Role: Full Time Live Out Housekeeper
Location: Belgravia, London
Salary: £47,000 DOE
Work Schedule: 5 days a week, 10am – 7pm
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and loyal Housekeeper to join a London-based private household. The ideal candidate will be energetic, discreet, and adaptable, with a strong eye for detail and exceptionally high housekeeping standards. This role requires flexibility in working hours and days, as well as a willingness to travel as needed. Accommodation will be provided when travelling outside of London.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the household to immaculate standards, ensuring all rooms are clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times.
- Handle all laundry and ironing, including daily washing, ironing, and towel changes, as well as weekly bed linen changes.
- Provide clothing care, including washing, ironing, steaming, and organising garments, shoes, and accessories.
- Arrange and coordinate with dry cleaners, cobblers, and other service providers as needed.
- Maintain and care for furniture, art, China, collectibles, crystal, and silver, ensuring all items are cleaned and polished appropriately.
- Manage household inventories and ensure consistent supplies of essentials (water, coffee, cleaning materials, etc.).
- Assist with luggage packing and unpacking for family travel.
- Run errands and shopping as required.
- Coordinate deliveries and maintenance visits.
- Occasionally assist with dog care (feeding, walking if required) when the regular dog carer is unavailable.
- (Optional) Prepare simple, classic meals when required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar private household role with longevity in previous positions.
- High attention to detail, with pride in maintaining exceptional standards.
- Discreet and professional, with a calm and positive attitude.
- Dog-friendly and comfortable around pets.
- Flexible and adaptable regarding work hours and days.
- Willingness to travel with the family as required.
