Overview
A sweet young couple in White Plains is seeking a newborn care specialist to provide support 2-3 nights per week, for 3 weeks starting around January 23. The schedule is very flexible- any 2-3 days that the ideal person is available. The family is looking for approxiately 8 hours per night, and they are flexible on those hours.
Responsibilities
- Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
- Provide professional guidance as it pertains to baby care while respecting the family’s personal preferences
- Encourage healthy sleep habits and follow safe sleep guidelines
- Baby laundry, bottle/pump part cleaning and sanitizing, and cleaning of toys and other baby items
- Providing general support and assistance, where possible (given the nighttime schedule)
Qualifications
- Warm and kind
- Experienced and able to guide new parents
Requirements
- US work authorization
- At least 3 years of verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist
- Up to date on Flu/RSV/TDap and MMR vaccinations
- Excellent verifiable references
