Overview
An family living in Abu Dhabi is seeking an executive housekeeper to oversee their apartment. The residence isn't always occupied but when it is the candidate is expected to have a 24/7 mindset and be on call as needed. At other times the candidate will be responsible for maintaining the home with a less busy schedule.
The schedule is to be confirmed but will be 6-days per week and 10-12 hours per day. Some flexibility is needed for evening hours in the event of a party or family event. The family treats their staff very well and would like to find a housekeeper who wants longevity in the role.
Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning, tidying and general upkeep of all high-traffic and common areas
- Daily laundry (family clothing, bed linens and towels) and regular pressing (steaming and ironing)
- Daily trash removal
- Assisting with packing and unpacking for travel
- Maintaining an inventory of groceries, toiletries, cleaning products and other household supplies; running errands as needed to keep the household fully stocked
- Keep the refrigerator/freezer clean and organized
- Serving as one point of contact in a network that includes housekeepers at secondary residences; communicating effectively and efficiently to aid in smooth transitions as the family occupies the property
- Deep cleaning and/or long-term project completion while the family is away on extended travel (e.g., deep clean cabinets, organize storage areas, clean outdoor furniture, etc.)
Qualifications
- Meticulous attention to detail in all housekeeping and laundry duties
- Calm, confident and effective communicator who is unafraid of asking questions and following specific protocols while remaining proactive and anticipating the needs of a busy family
- Exhibiting a highly professional manner when answering the phone, greeting guests at the door, or otherwise representing the family
- The ability to work flexibly in varying circumstances and environments, from a quiet, empty home to a busy hive of activity

Requirements
- Fluent English speaking
- Longevity in previous placements (3+ years)
- Previous experience working in a large residence and/or a top-rated hotel, luxury resort, or similar
- Flexibility
- Comfortable working with children
- Willing to sign an NDA
Salary and Benefits
- 15,000 AED per month
