Overview
A private ultra-high-net-worth family in Los Altos Hills, CA is seeking a full-time Executive Housekeeper to oversee the care, organization, and presentation of their newly built luxury residence. This role is designed for a career housekeeper with experience working in homes with elevated finishes, fine materials, and high standards, while remaining comfortable in a warm, semi-informal household culture. The family values communication, initiative, and a calm, friendly presence. The home includes a main residence of approximately 6,000 sq ft (6 BD / 5 BA), an ADU/guest house of approximately 800 sq ft (1 BD / 1 BA), and extensive outdoor living areas on 1 acre (44,000 sq ft), including a rooftop deck, pool, and outdoor kitchen. Both principals work from home, and the home includes five children under twelve, requiring a housekeeper who is comfortable working around family life and understands how to balance discretion with being part of the household's routine. The family is only considering local candidates; relocation is not being offered.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- The Executive Housekeeper will take ownership of maintaining a well-run, organized, and immaculately presented home. This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, efficiency, and proactive communication.
Interior Care & Presentation
- Daily and deep cleaning of all interior spaces to a guest-ready standard
- Proper care of luxury finishes including stone, hardwood, custom cabinetry, and designer fixtures
- Resetting rooms, managing daily household flow, and maintaining order throughout the home
Laundry & Wardrobe Support
- Managing children’s clothing, towels, and daily household laundry
- Steaming and ironing as needed
- Higher-end garments and dry cleaning may be outsourced depending on household decisions
Outdoor Spaces & Guest Home
- Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor living areas, decks, rooftop deck, and outdoor kitchen
- Full care of the guest house interior to main-house standards
Household Support
- Monitoring and restocking household supplies
- Coordinating with and escorting vendors when on-site
- Occasional errands if needed (dry cleaning, dog grooming, grocery runs), though primary errands are managed by the Property Manager
- Supporting hosting and events a few times per year
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in UHNW homes or luxury hospitality environments
- Strong knowledge of high-end materials and proper cleaning methods
- Proactive, organized, and detail-driven
- Comfortable working in a home with children and principals present
- English fluency required

- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, family-centered household
- Willingness to support occasional event preparation and hosting assistance as needed

Salary and Benefits
- $114,400-$135,200 annually ($55-$65/hr )
