Overview
A warm, down-to-earth family is seeking a nanny/housekeeper hybrid to join their home following the departure of their long-term caregiver, who has been with them for over 6 years. The family has two children, ages 7 and 2, and is looking to recreate a blended childcare and household support structure.
This is a true hybrid position, in which responsibilities shift from day to day. Some days are more childcare-focused, particularly with the 2-year-old, while others lean more heavily into housekeeping and cooking. The family is open to structuring the role at 35 guaranteed hours per week, with flexibility to increase to 40 hours for a candidate seeking additional stability. If the schedule expands to 40 hours, the additional time will primarily be devoted to housekeeping responsibilities. The schedule currently runs Tuesday through Friday, totaling approximately 34–36 hours per week. Tuesdays and Thursdays are typically scheduled from 10am to 7pm and are more focused on childcare. Wednesdays and Fridays generally run from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and lean more heavily toward housekeeping and cooking, with childcare woven in throughout the day. The family is open to adding Mondays for the right long-term fit.
The parents’ top priority is finding someone who feels like a safe, steady presence in the home and who takes pride in maintaining an organized, well-run household. This role will begin as soon as the family finds the right fit.
