Overview
A warm and welcoming family in Brooklyn Heights, NY, is seeking a long-term, part-time nanny to care for their two children, ages 4 years and 16 months. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8am-1pm. The family is seeking someone confident, experienced, and kind for their two children. This family also has a cat, so the nanny must be okay with pets. They would prefer a person who speaks Spanish, but this is not required. Candidates who have a background in childhood development, the salary will be negotiated at a higher rate.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to;
- Always ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
- Changing diapers, feeding, and keeping the baby on a schedule
- Cooking for the kids and preparing snacks
- Organizing and tidying up the play areas
- Taking the children to and from school
- Keeping the kitchen tidy
Qualifications
- A self-starter
- Warm and playful
- Knowledge of newborns and toddlers
- Extremely patient
- Must be okay with cats
Salary and Benefits
- $35-40/hr
