Overview
A kind family of four in Greenwich Village is seeking a fantastic live-out weekend nanny to assist with their 7-year-old daughter. The family has an infant as well, but that child has their own nanny, and no infant care will be required. The schedule for this role is Saturday and Sunday, 7:30am-7:30pm. The family is hoping to find someone who has experience working with children with special needs, as the child has been diagnosed with ADHD and Autism, and needs assistance with social skills and executive functioning tasks.
Responsibilities
- Providing loving and patient care, including overseeing meal, sleep, and hygiene routines
- Engaging in fun and developmentally appropriate activities and games in the home
- Proactively planning outings
- Create and maintain existing structure and systems in the home to help develop independence
Qualifications
- Patient and adaptable- able to make adjustments to meet changing needs
- Strong team player
- Warm, engaging, and excellent at connecting with children
Requirements
- US work authorization
- Able to commute Saturday and Sunday and work 7:30am-7:30pm
- Experience with children with ADHD and Autism
Salary and Benefits
- $40-50/hr.+
