They are looking for a talented Senior Chef de Partie to join the brigade, at the award-winning restaurant. The restaurant blends Mediterranean-inspired flavours with the finest British produce, creating exceptional dishes in one of the North East’s most elegant dining destinations.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee your section during prep and service
- Deliver dishes to the highest standards of presentation, flavour and consistency
- Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
- Train and guide junior chefs within the brigade
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, health & safety and HACCP standards
- Assist with menu development, tastings and seasonal dish creation
- Ensure stock is controlled, rotated and wastage minimised
- Help drive a positive, professional and motivated kitchen culture.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie in a quality fresh-food kitchen
- Strong technical cooking skills and attention to detail
- Experience in fine dining, luxury hotel or rosette-standard environments preferred
- Calm under pressure with excellent organisation skills
- A genuine passion for seasonal produce and modern cooking
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate others
- Food safety knowledge and commitment to kitchen standards
