Overview and Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Butler to join a private estate in Ramateulle to join a UHNW family’s estate.
This is a hands-on role for a traditional, service-driven Butler to support in both day-to-day operations of the estate and formal entertaining.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide both formal and informal dining and event service for the Principals and their guests.
- Deliver traditional butler service, including silver service, to a high standard.
- Welcome and host guests with confidence, professionalism, and discretion.
- Support events of varying sizes, maintaining a visible presence when appropriate while exercising discretion when required.
- Coordinate closely with chefs on menus, meal service, travel plans, and overall service arrangements.
- Oversee luggage management, including packing, unpacking, and travel preparation.
- Arrange restaurant bookings and assist with broader lifestyle requests as needed.
- Accompany the Principal on travel when required.
- Provide driving support, including the handling of high-performance vehicles.
- Complete day-to-day errands such as shopping and general household tasks.
- Assist other household staff with additional duties as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 3+ years as a Butler within private households, luxury hospitality, or boh
- Discreet, polished, and highly professional, with a strong service-oriented approach.
- Maintains a quiet, unobtrusive presence while remaining confident and capable when engaging with guests.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable supporting both small and large-scale entertaining, with the ability to adapt presence as required.
- Flexible and adaptable, willing to assist across a wide range of household responsibilities.
- Proven stability and longevity in previous roles preferred.
- Strong background in silver service is essential.
- Fluent in English.
- Confident driver with experience handling high-performance vehicles.
