House Manager – UHNW Private Household (London) | Overseeing Two Prestigious Residences
We are seeking an exceptional House Manager to take full responsibility for the seamless operation of two distinguished private residences in London, one of which is a substantial estate. This position requires a polished, highly organised individual with a natural ability to lead, anticipate needs, and uphold the highest standards of discretion and service. You will be instrumental in ensuring both properties run effortlessly, delivering an impeccable lifestyle experience for the principals.
Key Responsibilities
- Full operational oversight of two UHNW residences, ensuring flawless day-to-day running
- Leadership and management of all household staff, including recruitment, training, rota coordination, and performance management
- Maintaining exceptional standards of presentation, service, and organisation across both properties
- Overseeing the upkeep of a large estate property, including grounds, facilities, and specialist contractors
- Managing all maintenance, contractors, and external service providers with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Budget management, expense tracking, and supplier negotiations
- Acting as the primary point of contact for the principals on all household matters
- Implementing and refining systems to optimise household operations
- Managing inventories, procurement, and household supplies
- Upholding absolute discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a House Manager, Estate Manager, or Senior Household Manager within UHNW private households
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple properties and/or large estate environments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire teams
- Excellent financial awareness and operational oversight
- A calm, proactive, and solutions-driven approach
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
