Overview and Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, discreet, and highly organised Estate Manager / Property & Lifestyle Manager to support the Principal of a Hong Kong-based family office. This role will oversee the family’s residences across multiple countries while ensuring seamless household operations and lifestyle support across Asia, Australasia, and the UK.

Job Description
As Estate Manager / Property & Lifestyle Manager, you will oversee all aspects of property and household management across the family’s global residences. You will be responsible for ensuring properties are maintained to the highest standards, coordinating staff and vendors, supporting family lifestyle requirements, and managing household operations with discretion and efficiency.
Role Responsibilities
Property Management
- Oversee the operations, maintenance, and security of residential properties across multiple countries
- Coordinate with local property managers, vendors, and service providers to ensure consistently high standards
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and property improvement plans
- Manage property-related budgets, reporting, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and insurance requirements
- Supervise renovations, fit-outs, and interior projects in collaboration with designers and contractors
Lifestyle & Household Management
- Coordinate all aspects of the Principal’s lifestyle needs across residences, including property readiness, provisioning, and staffing
- Recruit, onboard, train, and manage household staff across locations while ensuring service excellence and discretion
- Oversee household inventories and fine assets including art, wine, and collectibles
- Manage events, private functions, and guest visits across residences
Family & Guest Support
- Ensure residences are fully prepared ahead of family and guest arrivals, including cleaning, setup, and special arrangements
- Support the family with planning and bookings for local activities as required
- Coordinate transportation logistics and provide driving support for family members and guests when needed
Vendor & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain a trusted network of vendors and service providers globally
- Negotiate contracts and monitor service quality and performance
- Act as a central point of coordination between the Principal, family members, family office team, and external parties
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting related to the residences and household operations
- Work closely with finance and legal teams regarding budgets, payments, contracts, and compliance
- Provide regular updates and reporting to the Principal and family office leadership
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in property management, private household management, or family office environments
- Proven experience managing multiple high-end properties across different countries
- Strong understanding of international property operations and vendor management
- Exceptional organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
- Fluent English speaker; Chinese or Japanese advantageous
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexibly across time zones
- Valid driver’s license and experience driving in winter conditions
- Skiing ability is highly desirable due to the location of one of the properties

- Background in luxury hospitality, estate management, or family office support
- Experience managing complex renovations and new property acquisitions
