Stewardess/Housekeeper/Nanny – Private Family Estate | Pennsylvania, USA

An exciting opportunity has arisen for and experienced stewardess/housekeeper/nanny to join a warm and welcoming private family estate in Pennsylvania.
Ideally looking for candidate who comes from an equestrian background as the principals have horses and enjoy horse riding with the staff
This substantial historic property serves as the primary residence for two Principals who are focused on creating a positive, family-oriented household culture. Having purchased the estate in recent years, they are now building their long-term residential team and are seeking individuals who will become valued members of the household. General daily duties of service & housekeeping but the priority would be Fulltime Nanny (Monday - Friday).
This role would be particularly well suited to candidates from the yachting industry who are looking to transition ashore while continuing to deliver exceptional service within a private UHNW environment.
The Household
The Principals place great importance on family, hospitality, and creating a relaxed yet professional home environment. While the day-to-day household is relatively quiet, the estate regularly hosts family visits, gatherings, and celebrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Formal and informal food and beverage service
- Table setting, dining room presentation, and guest hosting
- Guest hospitality and support during family visits, events, and entertaining
- Pantry organisation, inventory management, and household provisioning support
- Full housekeeping duties, including daily cleaning, laundry, ironing, wardrobe care, and maintaining exceptional presentation standards throughout the residence
- Assisting with the preparation, organisation, and smooth running of family events, celebrations, and entertaining
- Providing childcare support for children including assisting with daily routines, feeding, playtime, outings, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment
- Working alongside parents and other caregivers to ensure consistency in the children's routines and development
- Supporting the family with nursery organisation, children's laundry, toy rotation, and maintaining tidy and well-organised children's areas
- Monitoring household supplies and ensuring service, housekeeping, and nursery areas remain well-stocked and organised
- Working closely with the wider household team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
- Supporting the Principals and family members with a flexible, hands-on approach, anticipating needs and maintaining the highest levels of discretion and professionalism
- Ensuring the home is maintained to an exceptional standard at all times, with attention to detail across service, housekeeping, and childcare responsibilities
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as a Stewardess aboard private or charter yachts, within luxury hospitality, or in a UHNW private household environment
- Strong background in both service and housekeeping, with exceptional attention to detail and high presentation standards
- Experience supporting families with young children, whether in a nanny, family assistant, maternity nurse, childcare, or household support capacity
- Confident managing a combination of hospitality, housekeeping, and childcare responsibilities
- Warm, approachable, nurturing, and professional personality with a genuine enjoyment of working in a family-focused environment
- Ability to adapt seamlessly between formal entertaining, relaxed family service, housekeeping duties, and childcare support
- Proactive, organised, and hands-on, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
- Positive team player who works collaboratively with family members and the wider household staff
- Comfortable providing age-appropriate care and support for young children while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries
- Flexible, discreet, and highly trustworthy, with a strong understanding of confidentiality and UHNW service standards
