Overview
Our UHNW clients are seeking a reliable, hands-on Houseman/Driver to ensure the smooth daily operations of their private estate in Tampa. This role combines property maintenance, heavy cleaning, and secure, professional transportation for the principal and guests, requiring a versatile candidate comfortable with both physical work and chauffeur-level driving standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Transportation: Provide chauffeured driving for daily appointments, airport transfers, and errands.
- Vehicle Care: Detail, service, and maintain all luxury fleet vehicles regularly.
- Heavy Cleaning: Polish marble floors, clean exterior windows, power-wash patios, and steam rugs.
- Facility Maintenance: Change HVAC filters, replace lightbulbs, and supervise local repair technicians.
- Grounds Upkeep: Oversee pool maintenance, clear lanai debris, and monitor landscaping health.
- Event Support: Assist with guest arrivals, luggage handling, heavy lifting, and furniture arrangement.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience as a Houseman, Driver, or similar hands-on role within a private estate, luxury residence, or high-end hospitality setting.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; chauffeur experience preferred.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including heavy cleaning, lifting, and general property maintenance.
- Working knowledge of basic facility upkeep, including HVAC filters, lighting, and coordinating with repair technicians.
- Florida Climate Expertise: Experience detailing vehicles weekly to combat high humidity and coastal salt-air corrosion.
- Hurricane Preparedness: Proven ability to maintain hurricane preparedness kits and secure outdoor furniture during tropical storm warnings.
- Discreet & Reliable: Comfortable working within a private household, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
