A welcoming family are seeking an experienced, reliable and discreet Housekeeper to join their household on a permanent, full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will be family-friendly, professional and confident working independently. They should understand the importance of boundaries and confidentiality and take pride in maintaining a clean, organised and well-run home.
Duties
The role will primarily focus on the smooth running and upkeep of the household, including:
- Thorough cleaning and tidying of the family home
- Laundry and washing
- Ironing
- Maintaining high standards of presentation throughout the house
- Working independently and managing daily housekeeping tasks efficiently
- Supporting the family with general household requirements as needed
- Some basic family style cooking
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous private-household housekeeping experience
- Be an experienced and confident cleaner
- Be able to work independently and use initiative
- Be discreet, trustworthy and respectful of household boundaries
- Have a warm, family-friendly approach
- Hold a full driving licence and be a confident car driver
- Have excellent attention to detail and high standards
- Be flexible and willing to occasionally work at weekends when required
Hours & Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with flexibility for occasional weekend work when needed.
- Weekends: Generally free, other than occasional weekend requirements by prior agreement.
