An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Live-In Housekeeper to join a prestigious UHNW private household on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
Job Description
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day housekeeping of a large private villa, ensuring the residence is maintained to an exceptionally high standard at all times. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced housekeeper who takes genuine pride in their work and is comfortable working within a fully staffed private household.
The Principal has three children, with nannies/governesses based within the household, so the successful candidate will work as part of a wider household team and will not be responsible for childcare.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintain the villa to an exceptional standard of cleanliness and presentation
- Complete daily cleaning across all areas of the residence
- Manage all household laundry, including washing, ironing, steaming and wardrobe care
- Ensure bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas and guest spaces are consistently immaculate
- Care for delicate, luxury and specialist fabrics, furnishings and finishes
- Prepare bedrooms and guest areas to a five-star standard
- Assist with household preparations ahead of guests and entertaining
- Maintain high standards of organisation throughout the property
- Work collaboratively with nannies, governesses and other household staff
- Monitor household cleaning and laundry supplies and communicate requirements
- Assist with ad hoc household duties as required
- Maintain complete discretion and confidentiality at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working as a housekeeper within a private household, luxury hotel or UHNW environment
- Excellent knowledge of high-end cleaning and laundry standards
- Strong attention to detail with a genuine pride in presentation
- Comfortable caring for luxury fabrics, furnishings and finishes
- Professional, discreet and trustworthy
- Warm, personable and able to work effectively as part of a wider household team
- Highly organised and able to work independently
- Flexible and willing to assist wherever required
- Previous experience working in Dubai or internationally would be advantageous
- Fluent English is required; additional languages would be beneficial
